J1 Human Resources Directorate
The mission of the J1 Directorate is to provide personnel and administrative support for HQ SOCEUR's service members comprising the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine personnel. It is directly responsible for promotions, personnel actions, in/out processing, financial actions, evaluations, manning and utilization of personnel, passport, visa and PERSTEMPO. It also serves as the main liaison between the servicing PSB/PSD, finance and central processing facility.
