J8 Comptroller Directorate
The mission of the J8 Directorate is to advise the commander on all matters pertaining to fiscal policies and procedures as well as budget development, planning and execution. The directorate also manages and coordinates all fiscal policies and procedures for HQ SOCEUR and subordinate units. Additionally, the director serves as the commander's advisor regarding civilian personnel matters for pay, awards and overtime; develops, plans and executes the command budget programs; and establishes and operates the Headquarters Management Control Program.
